You will lead the talent function for BlueDot Impact, scaling a high-velocity team from 7 to 25 people during a critical growth phase. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will design the recruitment infrastructure, source exceptional candidates from competitive AI labs, and ensure an 80% offer acceptance rate while maintaining a rigorous, fast-paced hiring culture.

What You Will Do
- Relentlessly source and close top-tier candidates from elite AI labs and research organizations, leveraging a $25M budget and mission-driven pitch to beat high-paying competitors.
- Reduce the median time from first contact to accepted offer from 12 weeks to 4 weeks by implementing efficient, candidate-centric workflows and evaluation frameworks.
- Scale the organizational culture by overseeing all people operations, including compensation strategies, performance management, and the administrative infrastructure necessary for a rapid US expansion.
The ideal candidate
- Proven track record of closing "hard-to-get" candidates in highly competitive technical fields, ideally within the AI, biosecurity, or high-growth startup ecosystems.
- High-agency operator with exceptional taste for talent who can distinguish between good interviewees and individuals who will thrive in ambiguous, mission-critical environments.
- Experienced in building people functions from scratch, including designing interview processes, setting compensation bands, and managing employer branding for an early-stage startup.
