Job Description: - For the position of Sales Head Responsible for overseeing all sales activities, driving revenue growth, and leading the sales team to meet organizational targets

Job Summary :-

We are seeking a results-driven Head of Sales to design, articulate, and execute our global commercial strategy. In this role, you will take full ownership of our revenue targets, scale our sales operations, and enter new high-growth markets. You will lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of sales managers and representatives, ensuring clear performance alignment with our broader corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and distribution strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, on board, coach, and motivate a diverse team of sales professionals to optimize conversions.
  • Performance Management: Set ambitious sales targets, monitor pipeline health, and track key execution metrics.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Produce detailed sales forecasts and regular performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Key Account Management: Build and cultivate long-lasting strategic relationships with primary clients and industry partners.
  • Market Analysis: Analyse evolving industry trends, customer demand patterns, and competitor tactics to adjust selling prices and positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure unified brand messaging and product alignment.
  • Budget Management: Manage the sales department's operational budget and optimize incentive compensation structures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's in Technology (BTech) or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of proven experience in senior sales roles with a clear track record of hitting or exceeding quotas.
  • Leadership: At least 5 years of experience directly managing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
  • Core Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of advanced CRM hygiene (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analytics reporting tools.
  • Business Acumen: Strong financial management skills with an analytical mindset capable of interpreting commercial data trends.
