  • Qualification : BE in mechanical / electrical engineering / industrial engineering. MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations is preferred
  • **Experience :**10–15 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or SCM.
  • Location : Bangalore-Hoskote

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery improvement.
  • Conduct supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, payment terms, and long-term agreements.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering and alternate sourcing.

Procurement & Supply Management

  • Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planning and operations teams.
  • Review purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
  • Track supplier performance on quality, delivery, and responsiveness.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier audits and periodic performance reviews.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, and commercial matters.
  • Promote supplier development initiatives.

Cost Management

  • Analyses spent data and identified opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks.
  • Implement cost-saving projects and report savings periodically.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain contracts, purchase records, and supplier documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Stores teams.
  • Support new product development and localization initiatives

Travel Requirement:
