What does the role look like?

The Head of Projects will have the opportunity to:

Lead and develop the Project managers team, establishing project governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.
Act as the right-hand person of the COO / CIO and assist with progressing and managing the team’s activities
Oversee the successful delivery of strategic projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, timelines, and resource availability.
Drive continuous improvement of project delivery standards, tools, and methodologies, with a strong focus on Agile and hybrid delivery models.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to Project Managers and cross-functional delivery teams.
Partner with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable project roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Establish and maintain executive-level reporting, ensuring transparency on project health, risks, dependencies, and resource utilization.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, executive leadership, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence across the organization.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Project Management, with at least 3 years as a Head of Projects or similar role
Proven track record of managing complex project portfolios and leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven environments.
Experience within FinTech, Financial Services, Gaming or highly regulated industries is considered a strong advantage.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio management, resource planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology project delivery.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at executive and board level.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence or others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment while driving strategic change and operational excellence.
