The power grid is changing faster than the software running it. enkel connects distributed EV batteries to energy markets in real time – lower bills and earnings for consumers, flexibility at scale for grid operators, without building a single new power plant.
As we scale in Denmark and internationally, we are looking for Head of Operations, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own billing and settlement, financial visibility, compliance processes and the operational side of our market entries, working alongside operations colleagues who run day-to-day delivery and a founding team with deep expertise across energy, tech and engineering.
This is a building role: you will design the systems, automate what should be automated, and do much of the work with your own hands before growing the team around it.
Who we are looking for
- You have built operational systems hands-on at an early-stage or scaling company – possibly after starting out in consulting, banking, or another analytical field before moving into an operating role
- You've worked in a regulated environment where billing, settlement, or money movement mattered, and you treat compliance as part of the product
- You automate before you hire, and you are comfortable working where no playbook exists yet
