About the role

At Sybilla Technologies, we build systems and software that help governments, defence organisations and space operators understand what happens in space — reliably, precisely and on time. 

We operate in a high-stakes market of ESA, EDF, institutional and international opportunities, where success depends on two things: winning consistently and delivering high-quality proposals at scale. 

As Head of Offering & Key Accounts, you will lead and continuously improve Sybilla’s proposal and offering engine across Europe and beyond. You will coordinate complex bids, develop commercial and proposal content, manage key strategic accounts and drive cross-functional collaboration to maximise our chances of success. 

This is a hands-on role combining proposal development, bid management and customer engagement. You will work closely with Business Development, Engineering, PMO and Leadership teams to transform complex opportunities into winning offers while ensuring speed, quality and operational excellence. 

The role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex commercial challenges and can successfully balance multiple priorities without compromising quality.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare proposals for public tenders, including opportunities published by space agencies, defence organisations and European institutions. 
  • Develop commercial offers and responses to RFIs, RFPs and other customer requests. 
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, financial and administrative contributions into high-quality proposal packages. 
  • Manage consortium partners and ensure timely delivery of proposal inputs. 
  • Analyse tender opportunities and assess their strategic and commercial fit. 
  • Coordinate internal prequalification activities. 
  • Manage the bid lifecycle, including governance and approval processes. 
  • Maintain high-quality CRM data for opportunities approaching the offering and tendering stages. 
  • Support and manage the Key Account Management function for strategic customers and partners. 
  • Work closely with Business Development to shape opportunities and define winning offering strategies. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes, proposal quality and bid performance. 

What you bring (must‑have experience)

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience preparing and writing proposals, commercial offers and tender responses. 
  • Proven track record of contributing to successful ESA, EDF, EU or other public-sector tender submissions. 
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and operational inputs into clear, compelling proposal content. 
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with confidence coordinating cross-functional teams and senior contributors. 
  • A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership. 
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines. 
  • Fluent English (written and spoken). 

Nice to Have

  • Engineering degree (MSc or PhD preferred). 
  • Experience working in the space, defence or deep-tech sectors. 
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth or scale-up environments. 
  • Genuine interest in the space industry and emerging space technologies.

Anticipated compensation

  • The compensation package will reflect your professional experience, qualifications and the anticipated seniority of the role. 
  • European Union: EUR 6,800 – 7,100 gross per month (employment contract) or EUR 53 – 55 net per hour (B2B), with the employment model determined on a case-by-case basis depending on local regulations and feasibility. 
  • Poland: 16,000– 23,000 PLN gross per month (employment contract) or 125 – 155 PLN net per hour (B2B). 
  • Please note that the final compensation package will depend on your professional experience, qualifications and overall fit for the role, and may be adjusted based on local market conditions and cost-of-living factors in each country.
