Title: Head of FP&A
Position Overview
The AVP / VP of FP&A is a senior Finance leadership role reporting directly to the CFO. This individual will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, owning the full planning and performance management cycle across Control Case’s multi-entity, multi-currency global operations. The role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, operational rigor, and compliance-sector expertise—building the analytical infrastructure that supports Control Case’s next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Own and drive the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecast cycles across all entities (Americas, APAC, Europe, and acquired subsidiaries).
- Maintain and continuously improve a rolling 5-quarter cash flow forecast model with scenario capabilities.
- Build and manage driver-based revenue models reflecting Control Case’s compliance-as-a-service revenue mechanics, including Working Capital lifecycle (WIP, A/R), and framework cross-sell dynamics.
Management Reporting & Business Partnering
- Produce monthly and quarterly Board-ready packages covering consolidated P&L, segment performance, and KPI dashboards.
- Partner with business segment leaders across Verticals and Global Centers of Excellence (GCOEs) to deliver actionable financial insight.
- Design and maintain engagement-level and segment-level profitability reporting, including realization rate and DSO analytics.
M&A Integration & Acquisition Finance
- Support post-acquisition integration workstreams—NWC true-ups, earnout tracking, and Business Unit-level consolidation
- Lead financial diligence and model-building for future acquisition opportunities, including purchase price analysis and pro forma modeling.
Systems & Process
- Serve as the Finance lead for NetSuite ERP optimization, with a focus on ARM (Advanced Revenue Management), Project Accounting, and Multi-Book Accounting modules
- Build and maintain a scalable FP&A infrastructure including automated reporting, chart of accounts governance, and intercompany eliminations
- Develop and enforce Finance process notes and SOPs in alignment with ControlCase’s SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001 control environments
Global Finance Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing global FP&A team.
- Business Partnering with key business stakeholders to define annual Plan and discuss Actual vs. Plan performance
- Partner with the CFO on strategic projects including debt covenant compliance, lender reporting, and capital allocation analysis
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive Finance experience, with at least 3 years in an FP&A leadership role
- Demonstrated experience in professional services, SaaS, or compliance/tech-enabled services
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP
- Proven track record building financial infrastructure in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite and Board-level audiences
Preferred
- Experience with PE-backed or high-growth company environments
- Familiarity with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition, particularly for services with complex milestones or time-based delivery
- Exposure to M&A transaction support—NWC, earnout modeling, purchase price allocation
- Experience managing offshore Finance teams (India operations a plus)
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, CMMC) or cybersecurity industry context
