We're currently looking for a talented, motivated, and highly independent Head of Finance to join us on our mission to fight boredom and bring joy to billions of people worldwide. Please note: This is a fixed-term, temporary position.
What You Will Do:
- Improve financial processes, identify, and manage financial risks;
- Monitor daily cash balances to optimize cash levels, minimize idle funds, and develop cash flow forecasts to anticipate future financial needs;
- Support senior leadership on budgeting and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with set goals;
- Oversee company policies and the achievement of goals and objectives to ensure proper financial oversight in protecting the company’s assets;
- Manage a portfolio of investments to balance risk and return according to the organization’s strategy and risk tolerance;
- Coordinate with banks to manage accounts, services, and transactions. Negotiate terms and fees with financial institutions to ensure cost-effective services;
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management for strategic decision-making;
- Manage and develop a team of finance specialists and coordinate with the outsourced accounting firm;
- Lead an end-to-end audit process of current systems while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors;
- Establish and maintain policies for cash management, investment, and risk management.
What We Expect:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- 5+ years of experience in financial management;
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, risk management, financial reporting, audit coordination, financial planning, and finance strategy development;
- A highly independent, proactive, and hands-on mindset;
- Previous experience working within complex corporate structures (holdings, group of companies) is considered a strong plus;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and initiative;
- Excellent MS Excel skills;
- Fluency in spoken and written English.

Salary: €5,000 - €6,600 gross / month. (We are open to discussing the final salary based on your experience).
