Your role in our team
We are looking for an experienced Head of Financial Systems and BI to join our Finance organization. The role is anchored in Finance and its primary purpose is to ensure that our systems, data and automation capabilities serve the needs of the business and support sound financial decision-making.
You will lead a team of specialists across three areas: ERP responsible for the day-to-day integrity of our IFS platform, BI front-end professionals delivering reporting and dashboards, and RPA specialists driving process automation across the group. The team covers a broad mandate — and your job is to lead it with both professional credibility and clear direction.
This is a hands-on leadership role. While you will set direction and develop your team, you will also be personally involved in the operational delivery — including month-end processes, system maintenance, reporting runs and ad hoc analysis. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable in detail as in business conversation.
IT remains the technical owner of infrastructure and backend systems. Your role is to represent the Finance perspective in that collaboration — ensuring that what gets built solves the right problems.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
Your key responsibilities include:
- Play an active, hands-on role in month-end and period-close processes, ensuring data integrity, timely reporting output and resolution of issues as they arise
- Drive simplification and standardization across finance systems — reducing customizations and building scalable, transparent processes
- Lead BI frontend delivery, translating business and finance requirements into dashboards and reporting that support decision-making across the organization
- Support development of a Finance Technology Roadmap incl system modernization, automation and reporting together with key stakeholders and represent Finance in collaboration with IT
- Ensure automation initiatives are prioritized and aligned with business needs
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team, setting clear priorities across ERP, BI and RPA workstreams and fostering a culture of professional excellence and continuous improvement
- Act as a senior practitioner the team can draw on when complexity or urgency demands it — not only as a manager, but as a hands-on resource
Bring your world class expertise into play
You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:
- You have a relevant background with an education in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study
- Strong finance background with solid understanding of end-to-end finance processes, controls and governance. Preferably you come with experience from a production setup.
- Experience working with ERP systems in a finance capacity — as a process owner, key user, or transformation lead (IFS knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement)
- Ability to translate business requirements into system and reporting specifications, bridging Finance and IT without being a technical specialist yourself
- Experience managing teams and developing people across different profiles
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred) from a business and reporting perspective
- Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging finance leadership, business partners, and IT counterparts alike
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in finance, with meaningful exposure to systems and process improvement
