Head Of Facility Management & Workplace Experience

About the role:

As Head of Facility Management & Workplace Experience at Electrolux HQ (Forum), you have end‑to‑end responsibility for the building, facilities, workplace environment, and on‑site services. You ensure that Forum is safe, efficient, sustainable, and welcoming, while meeting the practical needs of daily operations and employees.

This is a hands‑on role for a visible leader who takes ownership, spends time across the building, and actively drives solutions rather than managing at a distance.

Key Responsibilities:

Site, Workplace & Service Operations:

  • Full ownership of facility, workplace, and corporate services at Forum
  • Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient day‑to‑day operations across the site
  • Act as primary site owner with strong on‑site presence and understanding of practical building needs
  • Continuously improve functionality, service quality, and workplace experience based on usage and feedback

Financial, Supplier & Project Ownership:

  • Full budget responsibility within the FM and workplace scope
  • Manage forecasting, cost control, purchase orders, invoicing, and financial follow‑up
  • Own supplier relationships, contracts, SLAs, and Operational performance
  • Lead facility, workplace, and property improvement initiatives from planning to delivery
  • Ensure structured coordination, prioritization, follow-up, and stakeholder communication

Health, Safety, Security & Sustainability:

  • Ensure compliance with Swedish work environment and safety regulations (Arbetsmiljöverket / SAM) by conducting systematic work environment management (Systematiskt Arbetsmiljöarbete), risk assessments, and regular workplace safety inspections.
  • Own environmental and sustainability practices in line with Swedish legislation (Miljöbalken), including waste sorting (källsortering), energy efficiency, and supporting company ESG and climate targets.
  • Manage fire safety and emergency preparedness (Systematiskt Brandskyddsarbete – SBA), including evacuation planning, drills, coordination with local authorities, and ensuring all office facilities meet legal safety standards.
  • Coordinate physical site security, access control, and visitor management

Workplace Experience & Collaboration:

  • Own the end‑to‑end workplace experience at Forum, from arrival to daily ways of working
  • Work closely with HR and business stakeholders on hybrid work, wellbeing, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Use employee feedback, observations, and simple metrics to guide improvements
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, IT, Security, Communications, unions, suppliers, and authorities

People Leadership:

  • Leads Facility and Workplace management teams with clear priorities and accountability
  • Enable delivery through presence, coaching, and hands‑on leadership
  • Address resourcing needs, performance topics, and escalations pragmatically and fairly
  • Oversees outsourced services (Reception/Food Services, Cleaning)
  • Total delivery organization of approximately 50 FTE
  • Create a collaborative and integrated “one team” culture across internal teams and suppliers
  • Ensure clear ownership, role clarity, and structured ways of working

Requirements:

  • We are looking for a practical, hands‑on Facility Management leader who takes ownership and is comfortable being close to operations.
  • Solid experience in Facility Management, workplace services, or site operations
  • Proven track record in project management, managing budgets, suppliers, and operational teams
  • Experience driving improvements in complex, active environments
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish work environment, safety, and facility regulations
  • Very good command of Swedish and English
