Head of Creative Video Operations
Dr Veda is looking for highly creative, strategic, and hands-on Director – Video Content & Brand Storytelling to lead our video production function. This role will be responsible for developing compelling visual content that strengthens our brand presence, supports marketing initiatives, educates healthcare professionals and consumers, and drives engagement across digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is both a creative leader and an expert video editor who can manage the end-to-end video production process while building and leading a high-performing video team.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Department Management
- Build, lead, and manage the company's video production and editing department.
- Develop video content strategies aligned with business, marketing, and branding objectives.
- Establish production workflows, quality standards, and creative guidelines.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, product, HR, and leadership teams to execute video projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
- Mentor and train video editors, motion graphic designers, and content creators.
Creative Direction
- Conceptualize innovative video campaigns and storytelling formats.
- Develop creative briefs, scripts, storyboards, and visual narratives.
- Ensure all content reflects the company's brand identity and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform-specific content strategies.
Video Production & Editing
- Independently shoot, direct, edit, and deliver high-quality videos when required.
- Create promotional videos, product explainers, corporate films, social media content, training videos, interviews, event coverage, and educational content.
- Perform advanced video editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Optimize content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites, and digital campaigns.
- Maintain video asset libraries and production archives.
Performance & Analytics
- Track video performance metrics and audience engagement.
- Recommend content improvements based on analytics and market insights.
- Drive continuous innovation in video storytelling and content effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film Production, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in video production, editing, and creative leadership.
- Proven experience managing video teams and large-scale content projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative video campaigns and editing expertise.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Advanced knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing tools.
- Understanding of motion graphics, animation, visual effects, and AI-powered creative tools.
- Knowledge of camera operations, lighting, audio recording, and production equipment.
