Why we need you: The Head of Corporate Communications is responsible for developing and executing MCTC’s overall communication strategy, ensuring consistent, clear, and impactful messaging across all internal and external channels. The role oversees brand positioning, corporate messaging, public relations, internal communications, and media presence, supporting MCTC’s strategic growth, reputation, and visibility in the maritime industry.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and implement the Group’s corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Define and maintain consistent brand messaging across all entities and markets
  • Oversee all corporate communication channels, including digital, internal, and external platforms
  • Ensure alignment between marketing, HR, operations, and leadership communication
  • Safeguard and strengthen the MCTC brand identity across all communications
  • Lead brand positioning initiatives to support business growth and market differentiation
  • Lead PR strategy, including media relations, press releases, and corporate announcements
  • Manage company reputation and handle sensitive communication matters when required
  • Represent the company in external communications, industry events, and media interactions
  • Coordinate crisis communication responses in collaboration with senior management
  • Ensure effective communication of company strategy, values, and key initiatives across teams
  • Ensure high-quality, engaging, and strategic content aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor communication performance metrics and optimise content and channels accordingly
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, partners, and communication agencies
  • Manage budgets related to communication activities and campaigns
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as may reasonably be assigned, in line with the scope of the role.

You need these qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, or PR
  • Proven experience in a senior or leadership role
  • Experience managing brand, PR, and internal communications at company level
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business objectives into communication plans.

It would be nice if:

  • You have exposure to international or maritime industry.
  • Experience working with multinational or cross-cultural teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing processes.
  • Previous exposure to international events, conferences, or high-level networking environments.
