Every AI design tool today can generate a screen. None of them ship one. The design looks great in the demo, then dies in a Figma file — never built, never shipped, never real. All that product work, none of it reaching production.

We work out of Bengaluru, backed by Kalaari Capital, Antler and Google for Startups Accelerator. The bar is high, the pace is fast, and the work compounds. Behind it is a small crew of engineers, designers, and growth folks who care deeply about this and ship at startup speed.

How We Work

We're a small team. You'll have more ownership than most engineers get across an entire career.

Understand it deeply. Talk to users before writing code.
Build it. Stay current, move fast, monitor what you ship — know why it's working or why it isn't.
Ship it. A feature nobody uses isn't a feature.
No process layers — work directly with the founder (Chirag, CTO).

Your Job in One Line

Own the AI layer. Make it fast, cheap, high-quality and hard to replicate.

What You'll Do

Own the AI layer end-to-end.
Build the system that gives the agent deep context on each customer's product. This is the hard problem.
Optimise cost, latency, and quality.
Improve the agent experience for users.
Optimise the eval framework for subjective problems.
Stay ahead of what's shipping. Pull it in before others do.

What You Need to Know

AI agents in production. Shipped to real users. LangGraph/LangChain, orchestration, tool calling, evals.
Context & retrieval. RAG that works at production quality. Prompt engineering as architecture.
Cost & performance. Caching, routing, model selection, token management.
Python. Deep. FastAPI, async, clean at scale.
Staying current. You follow what's shipping.

What Matters More Than Your Resume

You've built an AI system end-to-end and can walk through every trade-off you made.
You think about AI UX — latency, streaming, failure states, how the agent feels to use.
You treat cost/latency/quality as an engineering problem, not an inevitable compromise.
You can explain complex AI decisions to designers and PMs clearly.
You operate with ownership. You don't wait to be told what to explore next.

This isn't a "fine-tune and hand off" role. You own the intelligence layer of the product.

Comp & Role Basics

Compensation: ₹35-60L + ₹40L-1Cr ESOPs. If you're above this range, apply anyway. We're always open to a conversation.

Experience: 4+ years of building and shipping.

Location: Bangalore, HSR Layout. Work from office, 5 days a week.

Reporting line: Reports to the CTO.

Notice period: Candidates who can join within 30 days.
