Position Title: Head – Sales & Channel Development
Reporting To: Founder & Management Team
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Extensive Travel Required)
Purpose of the Role
To build and scale Shrego's sales and distribution network across India by developing multiple sales channels, appointing distributors, driving key account growth, and creating a high-performance sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
• General Trade – Develop and expand distributor network across India.
• Modern Trade – Manage relationships with national and regional chains.
• Quick Commerce – Grow Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto and similar platforms.
• E-Commerce – Support growth across Amazon and online marketplaces.
• Institutional Sales – Develop HoReCa, corporate gifting and bulk business.
• Sales Planning & Execution – Forecasting, budgeting and target achievement.
• Team Building – Recruit and develop future sales teams.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
• 8–15 years of FMCG Food Sales experience.
• Experience in snacks, healthy foods, dry fruits, peanut butter, beverages or packaged foods.
• Must have personally appointed distributors.
• Must have opened new markets.
• Must have handled GT, MT and Quick Commerce channels.
• Must have delivered measurable revenue growth.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
• Strong distributor and trade network.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willingness to travel 10–15 days per month.
