Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Institutional Sales role based in New Delhi. The Institutional Sales professional will identify, prospect, and develop relationships with institutional clients such as large industrial users, OEMs, and bulk buyers of lead and lead-based products. Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, preparing and presenting commercial proposals, negotiating terms, and closing sales in alignment with company policies. The role involves monitoring market trends and competitor activities, coordinating with internal teams (production, logistics, and finance) to ensure timely order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts. The individual will also be expected to manage key accounts, follow up on payments, support contract renewals, and contribute to strategic sales planning and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Institutional Sales and Sales, with experience managing large or strategic accounts and building long-term client relationships.
- Understanding of Finance and Investments to interpret pricing, margins, and commercial terms and support data-driven sales decisions.
- Exposure to Trading and market dynamics, preferably in commodities, metals, batteries, or related industrial sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
- Prior experience in B2B or institutional sales within manufacturing, industrial products, or energy/storage solutions is preferred.
