Head of Payments | International iGaming Group

About the Role
Payments are at the heart of every successful iGaming business.
As we continue to expand across multiple regulated and offshore markets while developing our own platform ecosystem, we are looking for a Head of Payments to take ownership of one of the most commercially critical functions of the organisation.
This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced iGaming payments professional who combines strong commercial negotiation skills, deep PSP knowledge, and the ability to design and execute payments strategy at an international level.
You will have direct influence over payment infrastructure, provider selection, commercial partnerships, processing performance, market expansion, and the overall customer payment experience across the group.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Define and execute the global payments strategy across multiple brands, markets, and jurisdictions.
• Own strategic relationships with PSPs, acquirers, payment orchestration providers, banking partners, and alternative payment providers.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering processing fees, reserves, settlement structures, onboarding terms, and strategic partnerships.
• Drive improvements in approval rates, conversion, payment acceptance, customer experience, and processing performance.
• Evaluate and launch new payment methods, PSPs, and payment technologies across existing and new markets.
• Partner closely with Compliance, Risk, Fraud, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant payment flows.
• Monitor payment performance, fraud exposure, chargebacks, reserves, processing costs, and operational KPIs.
• Support market expansion initiatives by identifying and implementing optimal payment solutions for new jurisdictions.
• Leverage your industry network to accelerate commercial opportunities and strengthen the group’s payments ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in Payments, including substantial experience within the iGaming industry.
• Proven experience working directly for an iGaming operator, sportsbook, casino, or gaming platform.
• Deep understanding of PSP management, acquiring, payment orchestration, settlements, treasury, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong track record of negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic PSP relationships.
• Established network of payment providers, acquirers, and industry contacts.
• Experience operating across multiple international markets and regulatory environments.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
• Ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic decisions independently.
Nice to Have
• Experience with PaymentIQ, Praxis, Corefy, DevCode, or similar payment orchestration platforms.
• Experience with crypto payments and alternative payment methods.
• Experience across both regulated and offshore markets.

This is not a PSP account management or payments operations position.
We are specifically looking for a senior iGaming payments professional who has successfully managed PSP relationships, negotiated commercial agreements, influenced payments strategy, and contributed directly to business growth within an operator environment.
