Our client is a well-known operator in the international igaming industry. They are looking to appoint a Head of Online Casino, based in Sofia. The role requires a well-rounded casino executive with extensive experience managing the full spectrum of online casino operations, including product, CRM, VIP, payments, customer support, risk, fraud, responsible gaming, compliance, game providers, and commercial performance.
- Define and execute the overall casino strategy across multiple regulated jurisdictions.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, player retention, and market competitiveness.
- Establish short- and long-term business objectives and performance targets.
- Monitor and optimise key casino KPIs including GGR, NGR, FTDs, retention, player value, game performance, and customer lifetime value.
- Identify new market opportunities, trends, products, and growth initiatives.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the online casino operation across all regulated markets.
- Ensure operational excellence and consistency across regions while adapting to local market requirements.
- Lead and coordinate all casino-related functions to maximise business performance.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, controls, and best practices.
- Build scalable processes to support continued international growth.
- Own the casino product roadmap and game portfolio strategy.
- Manage relationships with game providers, aggregators, platform suppliers, and other strategic partners.
- Oversee game launches, product enhancements, content localisation, and promotional initiatives.
- Work closely with CRM, VIP, Acquisition, Retention, and Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Payments teams to optimise deposit and withdrawal performance.
- Work closely with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, and AML functions to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional casino teams.
- Monitor operational costs and resource allocation.
- Review financial performance against approved plans and targets.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of online casino operations within regulated gaming environments.
- Strong understanding of casino products, game mechanics, player behaviour, and monetisation strategies.
- Deep knowledge of operational functions including casino product, CRM & Retention, VIP Management, Customer Support, Payments, Risk & Fraud, AML & Compliance.
- Proven ability to lead complex online casino operations across multiple markets.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience operating within multiple regulated igaming jurisdictions.
