Position Title: Marketing Head

Position Summary

Cemindia Projects Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Head with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Tendering, and Client Relationship Management within EPC, Industrial Construction, Infrastructure, Cement, Steel, Power, Ports, and Material Handling sectors. The role is responsible for driving business growth, securing new projects, strengthening client relationships, and expanding the company's market presence across India.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in EPC, industrial construction, infrastructure, ports, cement, steel, power, and related sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate leads and convert opportunities into successful project acquisitions.
  • Build a strong project pipeline and monitor market trends to identify future opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, project owners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business discussions to promote company capabilities.
  • Strengthen long-term customer relationships to secure repeat business and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Tendering & Proposal Management

  • Track upcoming tenders, RFQs, EOIs, and project opportunities.
  • Coordinate with estimation, engineering, commercial, and project teams for preparation of techno-commercial proposals.
  • Review tender requirements and formulate competitive bid strategies.
  • Participate in negotiations and support contract finalization activities.

Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide strategic inputs to management on market positioning and business expansion opportunities.
  • Identify emerging sectors and new business segments aligned with company capabilities.
  • Develop annual marketing and business development plans and budgets.

Revenue Growth & Order Acquisition

  • Drive order inflow and achieve business development targets.
  • Monitor bid-to-order conversion ratios and improve business acquisition performance.
  • Support management in achieving revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and business development team.
  • Establish KPIs and performance objectives for team members.
  • Promote a collaborative and performance-driven work culture.

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare periodic reports on business opportunities, tender status, project pipeline, and order inflow.
  • Present business development performance and forecasts to senior management.
  • Maintain CRM databases and business intelligence records.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing, Business Development, or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Tendering, and Client Acquisition within EPC, Industrial Construction, Infrastructure, Cement, Steel, Power, Port, Material Handling, or Engineering sectors.
  • Proven track record in securing large-value projects and developing strategic client relationships.
  • Experience in handling government, private sector, and industrial clients.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of EPC and construction business processes.
  • Knowledge of tendering procedures, contract negotiations, and project acquisition strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and business reporting tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness and market intelligence capabilities.
