Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations and achievement of production targets across two production sites located in Kaunas and Jonava.
- Lead, develop, and strengthen the production team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze manufacturing performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and drive change initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and other teams to implement new technologies and manufacturing solutions.
- Initiate and lead process standardization, automation, digitalization, and AI implementation projects.
- Ensure manufacturing operations are prepared for increasing production volumes and the introduction of new products.
- Take ownership of manufacturing performance, including productivity, production costs, quality, OEE, raw material utilization, workplace safety, and production plan execution.
- Build an environment where employees take ownership, proactively show initiative, contribute ideas, and continuously seek better ways of working.
What We Expect
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience leading a manufacturing or operations function.
- A hands-on leadership approach within a growing and evolving organization, with the ability to both define strategy and actively participate in its implementation alongside the team.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Knowledge and practical application of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- The ability to identify not only problems but also practical and sustainable solutions.
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, experiment, and continuously seek new ways to create value.
- Good written and spoken English skills (B2 level or higher), enabling effective work in an international environment.
