Head of Kraft Heinz Ingredients (KHI)
Role Overview
The Head of Kraft Heinz Ingredients (KHI) is responsible for defining and executing a differentiated strategy to drive sustainable, volume-led growth for the business. This leader operates with a General Manager mindset, owning end-to-end performance across strategy, commercial execution, manufacturing integration, and talent development.
This role requires a highly strategic, commercially driven operator who can unlock the full value of KHI by aligning cross-functional resources, maximizing manufacturing capabilities, and elevating the organization’s understanding and adoption of the KHI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Deliver a Differentiated Growth Strategy
- Lead the development and relaunch of KHI’s strategy, clearly defining its purpose and role within Kraft Heinz
- Drive sustainable, volume-led growth through a shift from commodity selling to branded, value-added solutions
- Advance innovation and bespoke product offerings to meet evolving customer needs
- Strengthen customer retention and satisfaction through enhanced product quality and differentiation
- Lead End-to-End Business Performance and Operational Alignment
- Align resources and establish clear prioritization across commercial, operational, and functional teams to enable execution excellence
- Maximize utilization of manufacturing capacity to improve overhead recovery and efficiency
- Define and execute go-to-market strategy (G2M) for KHI’s portfolio
- Own full P&L accountability while driving disciplined performance management across the business
- Establish critical operating routines and governance mechanisms to ensure sustainable, repeatable growth
- Elevate Organizational Understanding and Adoption of KHI
- Build enterprise-wide understanding of KHI’s value proposition and role within Kraft Heinz
- Act as a key influencer across Retail, Away-From-Home (AFH), Operations, and Plant leadership teams
- Create strong internal connection points to unlock growth opportunities and execution alignment
- Champion visibility and advocacy for KHI across the organization to drive engagement and collaboration
- Build High-Performing Teams and External Partnerships
- Develop and lead a high-caliber, mid- to senior-level team across core functional areas
- Establish a strong talent pipeline through ongoing development, coaching, and upskilling
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with top customers, including Joint Business Planning (JBP) engagement
- Represent KHI externally through industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen market presence

New Hire Base Salary Range
$220,800.00 - $276,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
