What You Will Be Responsible For

Develop and Execute Category Strategy: Define and implement seasonal and long-term buying strategies for the category, aligning commercial objectives with customer needs, market trends, and business growth targets.

Build High-Performing Assortments: Create compelling assortment strategies that balance consumer demand, emerging trends, brand positioning, and financial performance to maximize sales and profitability.

Drive Cross-Functional Category Leadership: You act as the central connector across Design, Buying, Technical Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on category objectives and priorities. You foster strong collaboration throughout the product lifecycle, balancing customer needs, brand vision, operational requirements, and financial targets. Through effective stakeholder management and clear decision-making, you drive the successful execution of category strategies and business initiatives.

Lead Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate favorable costs, margins, quality standards, and delivery terms to drive business value and operational excellence.

Drive Commercial Performance: Monitor sales, inventory, and market trends to make data-driven buying decisions, optimize stock levels, improve product lifecycle management, and maximize category performance.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of Buyers, Designers and Tech engineers through guidance, knowledge sharing, and professional development, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture. You will report directly into Brand Director of Womenswear.

What We Are Looking For

Your Educational Background: You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

Your Strengths: You are strategic, business-minded, and passionate about fashion. You love understanding consumer needs, spotting opportunities, and making data-driven decisions.

Your profile: You bring 10–15 years of experience in buying, category management, or commercial leadership roles, with significant experience within the Jersey category and a proven track record of delivering profitable growth. You possess strong commercial acumen and expertise in category strategy, assortment planning, product development, and trend forecasting, with the ability to translate market opportunities into successful business outcomes. You have demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams across Buying, Design, and technical functions, alongside extensive experience managing supplier relationships and complex negotiations. You understand key financial metrics, are fluent in Spanish and English (German is an advantage), and are proficient in MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
