Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Technology Leadership:
- Develop and lead the IT strategy aligned with the company’s commercial and operational goals.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve speed-to-market, reduce costs, and enhance user experience.
- Provide leadership on the use of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, and automation.
2. SAP and Application Management:
- Oversee ERP (SAP) systems that enable end-to-end visibility across the supply chain, from procurement and production to distribution P2P & Financials Integrations.
- Manage Other Applications like HRMS, enhance technological tools and real-time data analytics tools like Power BI demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and financial control.
- Adopts & implement the new technologies and projects.
3. DMS and SFA:
- Manage DMS & SFA tools for the General Trade, Modern Trade, & Overseas Market.
- Enable agile Sales & marketing, product development, and pricing strategies using real-time insights.
- Integrate retailer relationship management (CRM), loyalty programs, and e-commerce platforms with back-end systems.
4. Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Lead the enterprise cybersecurity strategy to protect sensitive consumer, trade, and financial data.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy, ISO standards) across global markets.
5. IT Governance and Infrastructure:
- Oversee enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, ), and business applications.
- Establish strong IT governance, ensuring service continuity, system performance, and data integrity.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective cost control and ROI on technology investments.
6. Financial (The "Value" Metrics)
- IT Spend vs. Revenue: Keeping IT operational costs within a defined percentage of total revenue while scaling.
- Project Delivery: Percentage of digital transformation projects (e.g., Cloud migration, AI-based forecasting) delivered on time and within budget.
- Automation Quotient: Reduction in manual man-hours for reports (e.g., shifting from manual Excel trackers to automated real-time dashboards).
7. Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing IT organization with expertise across digital, analytics, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
8. Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
- Act as a business partner to the C-suite and business unit heads, translating strategic goals into technology initiatives.
- Manage strategic relationships with external vendors, partners, and technology providers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 12–15 years, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within FMCG or Retail.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: SAP (S/4HANA preferred), SFA/DMS tools, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and Data Security frameworks.
- Proven experience leading IT operations and digital transformation in a high-volume, fast-paced industry.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, supply chain management tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with consumer-focused technologies, e-commerce integration, and data privacy regulations.
