Your mission
- Lead the establishment and growth of a finance department by developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's goals & building and mentoring a team.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks and establish comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
- Take charge of budgeting and forecasting processes, actively monitoring financial performance.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and accounting standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements, staying updated on changes and adapting policies accordingly.
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the existing finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Offer strategic advice to the executive team, highlighting financial implications and contributing to informed decision-making.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration by working closely with other departments, understanding their financial needs
- Cultivate positive relationships with external partners, including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven senior financial management experience in the iGaming industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification, with eligibility to sign financial statements in Malta.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, providing valuable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Interest in crypto (this is a must).
- Bonus points: Proven track record managing the full suite of crypto transactions, including crypto swaps, FX, and treasury flows, with practical experience operating and controlling non-custodial wallets.
