Reputed Garments Group of Industries is looking for Head of Engineering and Maintenance Department (Equivalent to GM)

Army engineering core may apply and those with experience in the RMG sector will be privileged.

Must Have the capacity and capability of handing, RSC, Building safety, Fire safety, Electrical safety independently.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Able to handle independently ACCORD, (RSC) for building safety and closely monitor and arrange structural remediation works as suggested by the consultant after receipt approval.
• Direct Supervision of Structural, Fire and Electrical Safety. Study and scrutinize the CAPs given by the Buyers and internal auditors regarding safety related requirements for rectification/ improvements /remedy and repair of building / structure, Fire Safety.
• Look after Civil works in Construction of Factory building, ETP, WTP, warehouse Utility Building, Manufacturing Building, Sub-station and other infra-structure and assist overall construction activities by proposal, coordinating, planning, overseeing and approval from higher authority relevant details of implementation of all new building and ETP Plant construction projects and over all maintenance of existing buildings or structures and facilities of the company as directed by management.
• Understanding thoroughly the approved drawing & design of a project and giving instruction to the contractor according the same and checking the works are running as per approved drawing & design.
• ETABS knowledge will be given the privilege.
• Train Up the project team on quality control, cost control, progress monitoring & practicing well management to create satisfactory job environment.
• Check and verify project related all running and final bills of Contractors.
• Evaluate project staffs and Contractors from time to time and inform top management about their performance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation & file management.
• Should have ability to carry out all types of tasks assigned by the Management.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)
