THE CONTEXT
Nolitigation.com is an AI-native Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) startup founded by a second-time entrepreneur (previous exit: global acquisition in martech/AI) and headquartered in Cambridge, UK.
We are in stealth, pre-seed, and building our core AI platform from scratch.
The legal system is broken for most businesses. We are fixing that with technology. This is the first serious technical hire. You will not be inheriting someone else's architecture — you will be designing it from day zero.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
– Full architectural ownership from day zero — the platform's AI stack is yours to design, not inherit. Every major technical decision will have your fingerprint on it.
– Build the end-to-end AI/ML pipeline: document understanding, evidence classification, legal reasoning at scale, and structured decision generation.
– Design the data flywheel — from synthetic data strategy in the early months through to real-world training cycles as cases accumulate.
– Build for trust and compliance: explainability, confidence calibration, human-in-the-loop triggers, and an audit trail that can withstand regulatory scrutiny.
– Define automation thresholds and progression milestones — your judgement directly determines how fast the platform scales.
– Work directly with the founder — no layers, no committees, no bureaucracy.
– Shape the India tech hub as the team grows; this is a founding team role.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– Top 1% intelligence, demonstrably. We are not looking for credentials — we are looking for signal. Show us something extraordinary you have built or solved.
– Strong ML fundamentals: LLMs, RAG, vector search, document AI, confidence calibration — not just API calls over a foundation model.
– Experience with Python, cloud infrastructure, and production ML systems that have seen real data under real conditions.
– Familiarity with legaltech, ODR, compliance-heavy domains, or NLP over long-form legal text is a significant advantage — not a requirement.
– Startup DNA: energised by ambiguity, not paralysed by it. You ship, iterate, and care about outcomes over process.
– Intellectual honesty — you push back when the approach is wrong, and you are comfortable saying "I don't know, but I'll find out".
– A genuine belief that technology can make justice more accessible. That belief matters here.

We will pay what it takes for the right person. We will not lose this hire on money.
