In the context of accelerating international expansion, Viorica-Cosmetic S.A., a leading cosmet-ics manufacturer, is seeking senior commercial leaders to drive and scale its international busi-ness.
This is a strategic leadership role with direct impact on international revenue growth and global brand positioning within the cosmetics and beauty & wellness industry.
Our expectations of the candidate:
- Proven experience in distribution management (positions such as Commercial Director, Distribution Director, or Key Account Manager) with a strong understanding of how a distribution company operates;
- Experience in planning and managing ATL/BTL marketing budgets of at least MDL 2 million per year, including the development of marketing plans and budget allocation to achieve specific business objectives (positions such as Marketing Director or Commercial Director);
- Hands-on experience in entering and developing international markets from scratch;
- At least 3 years of experience in the international trade of cosmetic products.
Role Mission
To define and execute the global export strategy, develop sustainable international markets, and build a strong and profitable global distribution network.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
International Expansion
- Develop and implement international market expansion strategy (EU, CIS, Asia, other re-gions)
- Identify and prioritize high-potential markets
- Define go-to-market models and distribution structures
Commercial & Brand Development
- Build and manage international distributor networks
- Lead brand positioning strategies in each target market
- Coordinate international product launches
- Adapt marketing and commercial strategies to local market specifics
Pricing & Profitability Strategy
- Develop and implement international pricing policies
- Analyze margins, logistics costs, duties, and competitive landscape
- Ensure sustainable profitability by region
Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and develop the Export team
- Set KPIs and performance targets
- Budgeting, forecasting, and annual strategic planning
- Represent the company at international trade fairs and high-level negotiations
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in international sales/export leadership roles
- Proven experience in cosmetics, dietary supplements, beauty or FMCG industry
- Strong background as Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in opening new markets and building distribution networks
- Experience in developing pricing strategies and commercial policies
- Advanced English and Russian language skills
- Strong understanding of Incoterms and international trade operations
