Role
A seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in ICT, digital transformation, and enterprise technology management. Responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for large-scale IT and smart technology initiatives, including enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, data centres, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and public safety systems. Leads the planning, implementation, and management of complex technology projects while overseeing technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure, innovative, and efficient digital solutions. Experience in smart city, command-and-control, and government digital transformation projects is highly desirable.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree (Preferably Master's degree) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Big Data, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum ten (10) years post-qualification experience in Information Technology, ICT, Telecommunications, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Data Management, Digital Transformation, or related fields.
- At least three (03) years' experience in a senior management position such as CTO, CIO, Director IT, Head of IT, Head of Technology, Head of Networks, Program Director, or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation, and management of large-scale technology projects and enterprise ICT infrastructure.
- Experience in managing technical teams, vendors, consultants, and technology projects.
- Experience with data centers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity operations, AI/ML, enterprise systems.
- E/xperience with command-and-control centres, smart city initiatives, public safety technologies, or government digital transformation projects shall be preferred.
- Relevant certifications and knowledge of ISO standards will be preferred.
