Hiring: Chief Technical Officer (CTO) – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

- Location: Jodhpur

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead our BESS division, oversee large-scale BESS projects, establish assembly and production operations, and drive innovation in energy storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company's BESS technology roadmap and business strategy.
• Lead the technical vision for BESS project development, manufacturing, and deployment.
• Support management in identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.

Project Execution

• Oversee the design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and performance of utility-scale and commercial BESS projects.
• Ensure compliance with national and international technical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance during tendering, proposal preparation, and project bidding activities.

Manufacturing & Assembly Operations

• Establish and manage BESS assembly and production facilities.
• Develop manufacturing processes, quality control systems, testing procedures, and production workflows.
• Optimize production efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Research & Development

• Monitor global developments in battery technologies, energy storage systems, EMS, PCS, and related technologies.
• Lead R&D initiatives focused on product innovation, performance enhancement, and localization of technology.
• Evaluate emerging battery chemistries and next-generation storage solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy storage, battery manufacturing, power systems, or related industries.
• Minimum 3 years in a senior technical leadership role.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience in BESS project design, execution, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Lithium-ion battery technologies, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), and grid integration.
