The Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) team is central to realizing this vision, deploying proprietary AI solutions that deliver significant value to the business and empower other teams across the company to enhance their products with scalable, high-performance AI infrastructure.

The Role

Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance associate workflows and customer interactions.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, large language model inference, and model evaluation.
Leverage open-source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
Invent and implement state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems.
Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for foundational AI systems.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years of experience in AI/ML algorithm or technology development.
At least 6 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor an engineering team and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics with expertise in hardware, software, and AI.
