Overview
Moncler is looking for a Head of VM EMEA to join its dynamic Corporate Office team based in Paris.
Reporting to the Retail Merchandising & VM Director EMEA with a dotted line to the WW Visual Merchandising Director, managing a team of 11 visual merchandisers located all over Europe, the a Head of VM EMEA role will be pivotal in the execution of the VM guidelines within the region (20 countries/ 100 DOS).
He/she will oversee all activities related to VM in the Retail Full Price network & Key Wholesale stores, ensuring that stores are delivering a premium user experience through the visual product presentation, in order to match commercial target and business strategy.
Your Impact
- Manage the VM direction across all EMEA stores through providing the inspiration, guidance and feedback to promote the image of the brand/product through eye-catching displays and deliver the right Customer experience.
- Ensure compliance of visual merchandising standards in all EMEA points of sale, in collaboration with global HQ.
- Build a strong working relationship with Retail teams through good collaboration, consistent communication and team motivation.
- Work closely with the EMEA Retail Merchandising, Planning Allocation teams to make sure the VM is in line with the deliveries calendar and the retro planning of the new collections by store
- Coach, develop and motivate the EMEA VM team, support in planning their activities and creating frequently opportunities to share best practices.
- Manage and control EMEA VM Budget.
- Report and document visually all changes upon completion of store visits.
- Be creative and proactive to face all the VM situations, actively participate in visual displays for special events and all HQ VM activities
- Identify, promote and maintain the evolution of VM & product presentation, ensuring to deliver and meet Brand and Channel business expectations.
Qualifications
- 8 years+ of experience in a VM Managerial role within Luxury Fashion/Retail companies
- Creative hands with ability to research and communicate key ideas to drive visual standards and commercial success
- Strong people managerial, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface regularly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Attention to detail and deep knowledge of current trends
- Flexibility with working hours and travel
- High-capacity work to tight deadlines, being self- motivated, energetic and practical
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
