The Role
Reporting to executive leadership, the Head of Sales will lead commercial expansion across the utility market and serve as a key partner in defining the long-term strategy of the Utilities business.
This individual will inherit a strong technical foundation and growing market momentum, with responsibility for developing a scalable go-to-market approach, strengthening utility relationships, and helping shape the future direction of the business.
Over time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead a broader commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the growth strategy for the Utilities business.
- Develop and scale a repeatable go-to-market model across the utility sector.
- Build and manage executive-level relationships with utility customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead complex commercial opportunities from origination through contract execution.
- Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to align market needs with business priorities.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and executive forums.
- Provide market intelligence and strategic insight to support business planning and product direction.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop future commercial team members as the business grows.
- Operate as a strategic leader with the potential to help shape and scale a major business unit over time.
