A rapidly growing technology company specializing in predictive analytics, risk intelligence, and resilience planning is seeking a senior commercial leader to build and scale its Utilities business to help shape the next phase of expansion.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who combines deep utility industry knowledge with commercial leadership experience and a desire to help build a business.

The Role

Reporting to executive leadership, the Head of Sales will lead commercial expansion across the utility market and serve as a key partner in defining the long-term strategy of the Utilities business.

This individual will inherit a strong technical foundation and growing market momentum, with responsibility for developing a scalable go-to-market approach, strengthening utility relationships, and helping shape the future direction of the business.

Over time, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead a broader commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for the Utilities business.
  • Develop and scale a repeatable go-to-market model across the utility sector.
  • Build and manage executive-level relationships with utility customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead complex commercial opportunities from origination through contract execution.
  • Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to align market needs with business priorities.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and executive forums.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic insight to support business planning and product direction.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop future commercial team members as the business grows.
  • Operate as a strategic leader with the potential to help shape and scale a major business unit over time.
  • Experience translating complex technical solutions into customer value propositions.
