Our client is a well-capitalised and entrepreneurial European real estate investment, asset management and development platform.
They are currently seeking a senior capital raising and business development professional to support its next phase of growth.
The business has an established track record across multiple real estate sectors and is actively deploying capital through both equity and credit strategies. Following significant growth and expansion, the firm is now looking to appoint a “Head of Capital Markets & Business Development” to lead investor engagement, capital formation and strategic growth initiatives.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to senior leadership (CEO/CIO), this individual will play a pivotal role in expanding institutional investor relationships, raising capital for existing and future investment vehicles, and supporting broader business development activities across Europe.
This is a highly visible position offering genuine influence within a growing platform and the opportunity to help shape its long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising initiatives across equity investment strategies.
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private wealth groups and strategic capital partners.
- Originate and secure new investment mandates and capital partnerships.
- Build and execute fundraising strategies alongside the executive leadership team.
- Prepare and deliver investor presentations, fundraising materials and market updates.
- Represent the business at industry conferences, investor meetings and networking events.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities, partnerships and new business initiatives.
- Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to support product development and investment strategy.
Candidate Profile
We are keen to speak with individuals who possess:
- 12+ years experience within real estate capital markets, fundraising, investor relations or business development. An ‘understanding’ of the capital raising process is essential.
- ‘Preferably’ have a track record of raising equity capital and securing investment partnerships.
- An extensive network across institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and asset managers.
- Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Existing European real estate market exposure.
- Dutch language skills are advantageous but not essential.
Individuals currently operating within investment managers, fund managers, developers, operating partners (most desirable), advisory firms or institutional capital raising teams are all encouraged to apply.
