๐ Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) โ AI x BFSI | 3-5 Yrs
Location: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi
We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering and customer delivery โ turning enterprise business problems into production AI deployments for banks, insurance companies, and fin-techs.
This isn't a back-office engineering role. You'll work directly with banking ops leads, product managers, and client engineering teams โ understanding workflows, designing AI-powered solutions, building integrations, and owning the journey from pilot to production.
One week you're designing a multilingual collections voice agent for a major bank and integrating it with their CRM. The next, you're debugging a live data pipeline, optimizing containment rates from production conversation logs, or running a technical workshop for a client's engineering team.
What You'll Do
- Own enterprise implementations end-to-end โ from workflow discovery and AI use-case design to platform configuration, integration, pilot execution, and production rollout
- Build and configure AI workflows โ prompts, conversation logic, routing, fallback handling, automation โ tailored by industry and use case (collections, customer service, sales, compliance)
- Integrate with enterprise systems โ CRMs, ticketing tools, dialers, internal APIs, databases โ using Python, REST APIs, webhooks, SFTP/S3, and batch pipelines
- Be the technical face of implementation โ run workshops, demos, and troubleshooting sessions; debug production issues and drive them to resolution
- Continuously improve outcomes โ analyze logs and performance metrics to optimize accuracy, containment, and efficiency
- Feed insights back to product โ surface patterns that become reusable features, templates, or accelerators
What You Bring
- 3-5 years in a technical role: software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or implementation engineering
- Strong Python โ scripting, API integrations, production-grade data transformations
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and auth patterns (OAuth, token-based)
- Familiarity with SFTP, S3, or batch data ingestion
- Real debugging chops โ you can read logs, trace data flows, and find the break without hand-holding
- Strong communication โ fluent translating between engineering and business, confident in front of enterprise clients
- An ownership mindset โ you chase outcomes, not tickets
Bonus Points
- Client-facing technical background (Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, FDE, Technical Consultant) at a SaaS or consulting company
- Exposure to conversational AI, voice platforms, workflow automation, or LLM-based systems
- Understanding of CRM, contact center, collections, or support systems โ especially BFSI
- Prompt engineering or AI agent behavior configuration experience
- Cloud fundamentals (AWS/GCP)
- Fast learning curve โ BFSI has its own language, and you'll need to pick it up quick
