The company is seeking a Head of Sales & Procurement to lead and scale the Renewable Site Solutions Division ($10M) during a key growth phase. This newly created leadership role will drive revenue growth, supply acquisition, and commercial execution across solar and renewable equipment supply chains, serving customers including EPCs, O&Ms, developers, site owners, and operators across the ecosystem.
This role combines hands-on commercial leadership with team building and strategic development. The leader will drive deals, strengthen sourcing strategy, build customer and supplier relationships, and establish scalable processes that support repeatable growth across the division.
This opportunity is best suited for someone energized by building and scaling commercial organizations rather than stepping into a fully mature environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by leading complex transactions, building a repeatable pipeline, and managing strategic accounts
- Lead pricing strategy, deal structuring, and negotiations to maximize margin and long-term value
- Develop relationships with developers, EPCs, O&Ms, site owners, and key partners across the renewable supply chain
- Build and execute sales and sourcing strategies to support scalable growth
- Partner closely with operations and logistics to ensure deal feasibility and strong customer execution
- Hire, mentor, and develop sales and procurement talent as the division expands
- Partner with leadership on forecasts, goals, and KPIs for the division
- Implement CRM, pipeline management, and scalable commercial processes
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 2 years leading teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success managing teams in a player-coach capacity while exceeding revenue targets
- Business unit and P&L leadership experience, including building and scaling commercial teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a growth-stage environment
- Renewable energy or sustainability experience preferred
- Broader experience in distribution, industrial supply, product/service, or relationship-driven sales models required
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, client meetings, and site visits
