Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Procurement for Radisson Group of Hotels (Colombo, Kandy, Rajagiriya & Galle) based in Colombo. The Head of Procurement will oversee and manage supplier relationships, evaluate and onboard vendors, negotiate contracts, and lead purchasing and procurement activities. The role involves ensuring cost efficiency, maintaining high supplier standards, and driving the strategic procurement processes to meet organizational goals. Close collaboration with various business units to align procurement strategies with overall objectives is essential.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Supplier Management and Supplier Evaluation
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation and Purchasing processes
- Comprehensive understanding of Procurement principles and practices
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
- Experience in the relevant industry sectors is an advantage
