We're partnering with a venture-backed technology company that is rebuilding a critical business system from the ground up using modern software and AI. The company has raised significant funding, is growing rapidly, and has assembled an exceptional team from some of the world's leading technology, financial services, and software businesses.
They're now looking for their first senior marketing leader to build the function into a scalable revenue engine.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional Head of Marketing role.
You'll inherit a small but capable team and work directly with the founders to define positioning, build demand generation programs, scale product marketing, and create the systems that support long-term growth.
You'll be equally comfortable discussing messaging strategy with founders, reviewing campaign performance with growth marketers, and helping recruit the next generation of marketing leaders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Owning marketing strategy and execution across demand generation, product marketing, content, lifecycle, brand and growth
- Building and developing a high-performing marketing organisation
- Creating repeatable processes, operating rhythms and reporting frameworks
- Driving measurable pipeline growth and revenue contribution
- Partnering closely with sales leadership to align go-to-market strategy
- Establishing category positioning and competitive differentiation
- Recruiting and mentoring future marketing leaders as the organisation scales
What We're Looking For
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in high-growth startup environments, ideally Seed through Series B
- A marketing generalist who is confident across multiple disciplines rather than a specialist in only one area
- Proven ability to build functions, teams and processes from scratch
- Hands-on experience executing campaigns, not just managing strategy
- Strong commercial mindset and accountability for pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Experience selling to executive stakeholders, finance leaders, or complex B2B buyers
