About Us
We're a growing New York City-based driving school running 4 websites across driving lessons, pre-licensing courses, road test booking, and traffic safety. Most of our marketing is already automated — what we need is one reliable person to own it, keep it running, and grow it.
The Role
This is a hands-on ownership role, not a high-level strategist seat. Our marketing systems (SEO, blog publishing, social scheduling) largely run on automation and AI tools. Your job is to stay on top of all of it, make sure it's working, and step in when something needs fixing or pushing forward.
You don't need to be a marketing expert. You need to understand the fundamentals, be trainable, and be dependable. We'll teach you our systems — we just need someone we can hold accountable.
What You'll Own
- Overseeing our marketing automation and AI tools, making sure outputs (blogs, SEO tasks, social posts) are going out on schedule
- Flagging and reporting when a system isn't working so it can be fixed in time
- Light social media management — scheduling and editing posts (content is largely automated or supplied)
- Running our ambassador program and reaching out to potential content creators / affiliates on Instagram and TikTok
- Simple video trimming for short-form content (we'll train you — it's easy)
What We're Looking For
- Solid marketing fundamentals — you understand how marketing works and can think and talk in marketing terms
- Trainable — willing to learn our systems and pick up the rest as you go
- Reliable and committed — you'll be the single accountable person for this function
- Relevant background — an MBA, or past experience in a sales/marketing role involving outreach, talking to people, emailing, and automation
- Comfortable with accountability — happy to report on what's getting done and own the results
- Strong written English
Important Requirements
- Individual freelancers only — no agencies. We're hiring a person, not a team.
- Camera-on during work hours is required for accountability and team connection.
What Won't Work Here
- Specialist/agency expectations — big ad budgets, large lead inflow, or premium rates
- Activity reports without real outcomes
- Anyone who needs hand-holding for routine work
