Forward Deployed Engineer (Space & Communications Technology)

We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help deploy and support cutting-edge communications systems for demanding applications.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to multiple space programs and work closely with a highly regarded customer base shaping the future of the sector.

You'd be the key person responsible for making the products work in the customers' networks. The work would span embedded systems, networking, software, and deployment engineering, installing hardware at customer sites, integrating systems, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and helping shape product development.

Deploy and configure embedded systems at customer locations
Support customers through installation, integration, and operational use
Develop and maintain software for Linux-based systems
Work with networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, and containerized services
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability

Requirements

Experience developing software for Linux environments
Strong programming skills in C++, C, or Python
Experience with networking, embedded systems, or distributed systems
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms
Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills

US Citizenship or permanent resident status required due to government contract requirements

Nice to Have

Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs), RF systems, or digital signal processing
Background in aerospace, defense, communications, or related industries
