Role: Forward Deployed Engineer

Remote with Travel

We hire FDEs across levels — from strong mid-career engineers to senior technologists — and calibrate scope and seniority to experience. Across all levels we look for:

• 5–15+ years of hands-on software, data, or AI engineering experience, with a track record of shipping production systems (not just prototypes).

• Strong coding ability (e.g., Python and/or modern application stacks) and the judgment to design pragmatic, maintainable solutions.

• Hands-on experience building Generative AI and/or Agentic AI solutions, including prompt engineering and optimization.

• Experience integrating systems and data across enterprise and custom platforms.

• A problem-solving mindset — able to start from an ambiguous business problem and drive it to a deployed, adopted outcome.

• Excellent client-facing skills — able to build trust with both technical and business stakeholders and front-end engagements.

• Comfort working in fast-moving, embedded environments with a high degree of ownership.

• Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as engagements require.

Technical Skills:

We expect depth in several of the following and working breadth across the rest:

• AI & Agentic: LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel; multi-agent orchestration; RAG; MCP / A2A protocols; LLM observability; responsible AI and guardrails.

• Engineering: modern application development; APIs and systems integration; cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Data: data pipelines and platform engineering; Databricks, Snowflake.

• AI-augmented engineering: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code.
