About The Role
We are hiring a Builder Data and Analytics Engineer to design, build, and operate the data backbone that powers decision-making across our business. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has spent their career close to the data: standing up infrastructure, moving and shaping it through reliable pipelines, and turning it into reporting that people actually use.
This is also a forward-deployed role. You will not sit behind a ticket queue. You will work shoulder to shoulder with internal clients and stakeholders, learn how they operate, and build directly against their needs. You scope the problem with them, build the solution with them in the loop, and ship something they can rely on. If you like owning a problem end to end and being measured on what you put into production, this role will fit.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines that ingest, clean, and transform data from a range of source systems.
- Stand up and evolve our data lake and broader data infrastructure, with an eye toward reliability, scalability, and cost.
- Design and build front-end reports, dashboards, and self-service views that give stakeholders a clear line of sight into their data.
- Embed directly with internal clients to scope requirements, build solutions alongside them, and iterate quickly based on real feedback.
- Use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of how you build, accelerating delivery without compromising quality or maintainability.
- Document data models, pipelines, and reporting logic so the work is durable and others can build on it.
What You Need
- At least five years of professional experience focused on data engineering and business intelligence.
- Demonstrated experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.
- Hands-on experience standing up a data lake and supporting data infrastructure.
- Experience building front-end reports and dashboards that serve business users.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or comparable toolsets as part of your day-to-day build process. This is a requirement, not a nice-to-have.
- A builder''s mindset: comfortable working directly with clients, scoping ambiguous problems, and owning delivery from start to finish.
Nice to have
- Experience with a modern cloud data platform such as Snowflake.
- Experience working across multiple business units or in a multi-entity environment.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality practices.
