Forward Deployed Engineer

Location: New York, San Francisco, or Remote (US)

Compensation: $150,000 - $300,000 + Equity

We're hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to help customers deploy and scale AI-powered software in production environments.

You'll work directly with customers to understand their challenges, design technical solutions, build integrations, and drive successful deployments. This role combines software engineering, problem-solving, and customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements
Design and implement production-ready solutions
Build integrations with APIs, databases, and third-party systems
Deploy and support AI-powered workflows and applications
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve the platform
Translate customer feedback into product improvements

Requirements

2+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience building and deploying production systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

Enterprise software experience
AI/LLM application experience
Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
Data platforms such as Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, or Databricks
Customer-facing engineering experience
