2. About the Opportunity:
The **Forward Deployed Data Engineer** role is focused on embedding within strategic accounts to design, deliver, and manage customized intelligence applications that combine diverse data sources. This position is responsible for leading engagements from discovery through deployment, collaborating across teams to tailor data solutions that address specific customer needs and improve market strategies. The role drives the development of repeatable models that enhance the organization''s service delivery and impact.
3. Responsibilities:
• Define and manage the Forward Deployed Engineering function''s operational model and engagement playbook.
• Collaborate directly with strategic account teams to understand their data challenges and business goals.
• Design and implement bespoke intelligence applications integrating third-party and customer data.
• Own engagement lifecycles including discovery, executive presentations, and production deployment.
• Work closely with data and product teams to leverage extensive data assets for tailored solutions.
• Develop automated logic for entity resolution, hierarchy management, and data activation.
• Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for sales and marketing teams.
• Build and maintain persistent entity profiles and customer-specific account architectures.
4. Requirements:
• Experience working with large-scale data integration and entity resolution.
• Ability to develop and implement custom data management and activation logic.
• Strong skills in data engineering, product development, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and data warehouse platforms such as Salesforce, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end engagements with technical and business stakeholders.
