This is a rare opportunity to shape how AI is applied at the heart of a technology focused investment organisation. You will join at an early stage of building a small, high impact data and AI function, with direct influence on how investment decisions and workflows are designed and automated using modern AI systems.

**The Role
**You will act as a senior technical leader, building production grade AI systems that transform investment workflows. Working closely with investment professionals, you will translate complex, high value processes into scalable AI driven applications.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and building AI powered workflows using large language models, agent based systems, and retrieval augmented generation
* Developing the architecture that integrates cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and external data sources
* Identifying repetitive analytical and operational tasks and automating them with practical AI solutions
* Building robust, production ready AI applications rather than proof of concepts
* Partnering daily with investment teams to embed AI directly into how deals are sourced, evaluated, and monitored
* Contributing to the technical direction of a growing data and AI capability
**Your Skills and Experience
**You will bring a strong engineering foundation combined with hands on experience delivering AI applications in real world environments.
Key requirements include:
* Strong software engineering capability, with Python as a core language
* Experience designing and operating cloud based systems, ideally on AWS
* Practical experience building and deploying LLM powered applications in production
* Solid understanding of RAG systems, agentic frameworks, and LLM application design
* Ability to make sound architectural decisions around model choice, system design, performance, and cost
* Confidence working directly with non technical stakeholders and translating business problems into technical solutions
* A practical, product minded approach to AI rather than a purely academic focus
**What They Offer
*** Base salary between $425,000 and $650,000, depending on experience
