For our client, we are seeking a Lead AI Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Technical Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design and maintain AI applications including chatbots and workflows
Collaborate with clients to identify needs and propose advanced AI solutions
Build and optimize data pipelines and prompt strategies for AI models
Conduct research to validate AI solutions' feasibility and business value
Enhance AI system performance for accuracy, scalability, and compliance
Stay updated on LLM technology advancements to improve project outcomes

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Python programming with web frameworks like FastAPI
1+ years of leadership experience in an AI development setting
Experience throughout the AI application development lifecycle
Skills in rapid UI prototyping using tools like Streamlit or Gradio
Familiarity with major LLM platforms and APIs such as OpenAI and AWS Bedrock
Knowledge of advanced AI integration patterns and techniques
Proven track record in assessing generative AI quality and performance
