What we need now is the person who turns all of that signal into intelligence.

As our Founding AI Engineer, you will own the AI and data infrastructure that powers every Bambinos product. You will define how learning is modeled, how AI operates inside live classrooms, and how educational outcomes are measured and improved at scale.

This is a true 0-to-1 founding role, not a maintenance position.

You will work directly with the founders, ship products to thousands of children, and help build the team that scales our AI vision.

What You'll Own

1. Learning Memory for Every Child

Design and build a persistent learner model that captures:

• Mastery levels
• Learning gaps
• Pace of learning
• Engagement patterns
• Learning preferences

This system will become the foundation that powers every teacher, activity, recommendation, and AI interaction across the platform.

You'll own:

• Data architecture
• Storage systems
• APIs
• Learning intelligence framework

2. Interactive AI Inside the Classroom

Bring AI directly into live learning experiences through:

• Adaptive classroom activities
• AI teaching assistants
• Automated feedback and grading
• Audio and video response analysis
• Handwriting recognition integrated with mydoodle.ai

The goal: low-latency, classroom-ready AI that genuinely improves teaching and learning.

3. Learning Data Infrastructure

Build and own the pipelines that capture:

• Student engagement
• Classroom participation
• Responses and assessments
• Attention signals
• Learning outcomes

Transform raw classroom data into reliable insights that improve future lessons and demonstrate measurable impact.

4. AI-Powered Curriculum Creation

Scale curriculum production using AI systems that generate:

• Slide decks
• Worksheets
• Learning activities
• Audio content

You'll build retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, quality controls, and generation pipelines that enable rapid curriculum development without compromising quality.

What Success Looks Like in Your First 6 Months

• Launch the first production version of the child learning memory system.
• Deploy at least one AI-powered classroom feature used by real students.
• Build a trusted learning outcomes data pipeline and reporting framework.
• Define the long-term AI architecture for Bambinos.
• Create the hiring roadmap for the AI team you'll eventually lead.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience shipping production products.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including:
• LLMs
• RAG systems
• Agents
• Fine-tuning
• Applied Machine Learning
• Experience building and deploying scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of:
• Data pipelines
• Data warehousing
• SQL
• Production analytics
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, from architecture to deployment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Passion for education and building products that create meaningful impact.

Nice to Have

• Multimodal AI (vision, speech, handwriting)
• Real-time systems
• EdTech experience
• Experience working with hardware-integrated products
• Learning analytics or educational data systems
