Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Intelligence Analyst role based in Worcester, MA, with flexibility for part-time work from home. The Business Intelligence Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into data models, and design dashboards and reports that support data-driven decisions. The role involves working with business intelligence tools to extract, transform, and visualize data from multiple sources. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across functions to identify key metrics, monitor performance, and recommend improvements. Day-to-day tasks include validating data quality, documenting analytics processes, and communicating insights in clear, actionable terms.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and present clear insights.
- Proficiency in data modeling and designing efficient data structures to support reporting and analytics.
- Experience creating dashboards and visualizations that communicate key metrics and performance indicators.
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Background in business analysis, including gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Comfort working with databases and SQL or similar query languages is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
