About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Developer with extensive expertise in Snowflake to join our dynamic Data & AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake’s advanced capabilities. This role involves integrating structured and unstructured data sources to generate AI-powered insights and applications that drive strategic decision-making. The AI Developer will collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to operationalize AI models within Snowflake, ensuring high performance, security, and compliance across all workflows. The successful candidate will stay abreast of the latest developments in AI/ML tooling, Snowflake features, and cloud-native architecture to continuously enhance our platform’s capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
3–7 years of experience in AI/ML development and data engineering
Strong proficiency in Snowflake, including Snowpark, SQL, UDFs, and Streams/Tasks
Hands-on experience with Python, especially in data pipelines and machine learning
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, model lifecycle, and MLOps practices
Experience working with large-scale data systems and performance optimization
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and issue tracking tools such as JIRA
Understanding of software engineering best practices and scalable system design
Snowflake Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Design and develop AI/ML pipelines utilizing Snowflake’s Snowpark, Python UDFs, and external functions
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering workflows within Snowflake
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers to operationalize AI models within Snowflake environment
Leverage Snowflake’s native ML capabilities or integrate with external ML platforms such as Google Cloud Vertex AI, SageMaker, DataRobot, or Azure ML
Develop reusable components, scripts, and templates to facilitate scalable AI solutions
Ensure data governance, lineage, and security compliance across AI workflows in Snowflake
Monitor and tune Snowflake performance for AI workloads to ensure cost-effective operations
Stay current with latest AI/ML tools, Snowflake features, and cloud-native architecture advancements
Maintain best practices in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes
