We are looking for a skilled Python AI Engineer to join our dynamic Sustainability team within a top-tier global consulting firm. By developing cutting-edge GenAI applications, you will help integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into corporate strategies. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing and deploying new GenAI applications tailored for sustainability, carbon footprint tracking, and ESG reporting
- Building robust backend solutions using Python, FastAPI, Pandas, and NumPy
- Designing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and optimizing Prompt Engineering workflows
- Leveraging vector databases, embedding models, and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex
- Working with large datasets to perform data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation
- Deploying tech-enabled solutions on Microsoft Azure, heavily utilizing Azure Functions
What We're Looking For:
- Proven commercial software engineering experience, primarily in Python
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Solid backend development skills focusing on FastAPI, Pandas, and NumPy
- Hands-on experience with RAG architectures and Prompt Engineering
- Proficiency with vector databases and AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (including serverless architectures)
- Good software engineering hygiene: Git, small/regular commits, unit testing, CI/CD, packaging, and Docker
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional sustainability stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with multi-agent libraries/frameworks (CrewAI, Autogen, Taskweave)
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (pipelines, integration, data warehousing)
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms and their AI services
Location & Working Setup:
- Remote working model within EU
- Contract duration: 6 months
US Hours overlap needed: Minimum 2-6 pm CET, preferred 2-7 pm CET
