About The Role

We are searching for an AI Engineering Architect to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of AI-native software solutions across our client and their client engagements.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. You will operate at the intersection of business, product, architecture, and engineering, using modern AI development platforms, agentic coding systems, and full-stack engineering expertise to rapidly design and deliver production-grade solutions.

As an AI Engineering Architect, you will engage directly with customers to understand business challenges, translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, define system architectures, and oversee implementation through a combination of human engineering teams and AI-powered development workflows.

You will act as the bridge between stakeholders, business analysts, product owners, engineers, and AI systems, ensuring that solutions are technically sound, commercially aligned, and delivered efficiently.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with customers to understand business challenges and design AI-native solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Architect and deliver AI-powered applications, automations, integrations, and agentic systems.
  • Use AI-first development approaches and modern full-stack technologies to accelerate software delivery.
  • Bridge business and technology by translating requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to their AI engineering methodology, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
  • Work within their structured AI-native SDLC pipeline, planning features as specs, delegating implementation to agentic systems, and validating results through human-in-the-loop review cycles.
  • Use our client’s tooling to extract and codify domain expertise from client codebases into reusable AI skills and knowledge bases, so that institutional knowledge grows across engagements and project lifetimes.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong full-stack software engineering experience across modern technology stacks, including TypeScript, Python, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and web applications.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade software architectures.
  • Hands-on experience working with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding systems such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between business discussions and technical implementation.
  • Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and engaging directly with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead technical decision-making and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Product mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value.

What You Can Expect From Them

At our client’s, they believe that how you work is as important as what you build. They are constantly looking for ways to codify engineering best practices directly into the tools and workflows your team uses every day.

As an AI Engineering Architect, you will have access to:

  • Their Coder Framework, a structured, evolving toolkit built on top of coding harnesses that encodes our SDLC methodology into commands, agents, and workflow orchestration. You will use it to plan features as specs, delegate implementation to agentic teams, and validate results through review cycles.
  • Expert skill and knowledge extraction, they actively extract domain knowledge from every codebase they touch into reusable expert skills and persistent memory systems. You will help shape this process and benefit from it: the context and institutional knowledge you build on one engagement is captured in a structured form so it can inform future work, not vanish when a project ends.
  • The best tools, actively maintained, track the frontier of AI development tooling and continuously update their frameworks to incorporate what works. When a better approach emerges, they codify it and ship it. You will work with the most capable coding agents and orchestration systems available, and you will receive hands-on training in their optimal use.
  • A team that takes engineering methodology seriously. Their company is a place where the craft of how software is built matters as much as the software itself.

Bonus Points

  • Experience delivering AI transformation initiatives or enterprise automation projects.
  • Background in consulting, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical leadership roles.
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, MCP architectures, LLM integrations, and workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Experience designing multi-system integrations and enterprise solution ecosystems.
  • Experience operating across multiple client environments and industries.

Success in This Role

Success as an AI Engineering Architect means becoming the trusted technical and business partner who can understand a customer's challenge, design the right solution, leverage AI to accelerate delivery, and guide implementation from concept to production while ensuring measurable business impact.
