About the Role

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer (Agentic AI) to build the intelligence behind Memorae's next generation of autonomous AI agents.

You'll design systems that understand user intent, reason over long-term memory, orchestrate tools, and autonomously execute complex tasks at scale.

What You'll Do

• Design and build autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning and intelligent task execution.
• Architect long-term memory systems for personalized, context-aware experiences.
• Develop orchestration pipelines integrating LLMs, retrieval systems, external APIs, and tools.
• Build scalable RAG and knowledge retrieval architectures.
• Optimize AI inference pipelines for latency, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams.
• Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art AI models and frameworks.
• Improve agent performance through evaluation and observability.
• Contribute to the technical architecture of the AI platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML systems.
• Proven experience building production AI agents or LLM-powered applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, tool calling, and agent architectures.
• Strong knowledge of scalable backend systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and API-driven systems.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with memory systems and contextual AI.
• Knowledge of MCP and AI workflow orchestration.
• LLM fine-tuning or evaluation experience.
• Knowledge graphs or graph databases.
• Multimodal AI experience.
• AI observability and evaluation frameworks.
• Consumer AI products at scale.
• Open-source contributions or technical research.
